WLL on these is actually closer to 700 lbs. & break strength, best estimate based upon other 316 SS 1/4" shackles is approx one ton.VERY Dangerous mistake for Amazon to accept!!As quarter ton 316 stainless shackles go these have very nice threads and work great. Just be aware that 316 stainless is only slightly stronger than forged steel. 1/4" steel shackles are 500lbs WLL.
