Decent quality and value fir the money, work as intended, easy to use. Not the best kind of connection, but it will work on a rush and remain secure if not placed in a part that moves around

I go through a ton of crimpable connectors. I'm a hobbyist in electronics, mainly audio and vehicle accessories. I'm constantly tinkering and rearranging my wiring, so I go through a lot of butt and spade connectors. I was running low, so when I saw these I decided to try them. They arrived in a little plastic screw jar which was full. I didn't count the individual pieces, but it seems like they're all present. In use they work well! The crimps are solid and I haven't had a wire fall out yet. These appear to be sized correctly and I've used these with a variety of switches.Overall I'm pleased with these connectors and am already through a good portion of the jar.I recommend!

These female spade lugs work very well. I used several of them to connect wires to small LiFePO4 batteries and had no problems with them at all. I like the way that the plastic insulator is formed because my crimping tool fits right in to the recessed area of the insulator and puts the jaws of the crimping pliers right into the perfect location to crimp the connector. The thickness of the metal in these is not very thick, but they still worked fine in my applications. One thing that I noticed while trying these out is that if they are pushed onto a male spade lug before being crimped, and then you try to pull the female connector back off, the plastic insulator sometimes comes off, but leaves the metal part of the connector still attached. I then had to use a pair of pliers to pull the metal part of the female connector off of the male connector. But this does not happen once the connector has been crimped onto a wire. And if a plastic insulator does come off of an uncrimped connector, it's easy to slide the metal part back into the plastic insulator. I had no instances of the plastic coming off of the metal contact once the connector was crimped onto a wire. These connectors come in a nice see-through, wide-mouth plastic jar, which is so much easier to deal with than the packaging of most of the other connectors that I've used.I like the way these connectors worked, and when I need more, I would not hesitate to reorder these.

Review for YMYP Nylong Female Spade Connectors, Blue 16-14 AWG, .250"It's a little hard to find the spade width in the listing: these are .250 (1/4"), the most common size for electrical applications. The nylon insulation seems good: it's stiff enough to stay in place, and flexible enough to last. The wire gauge size is accurate. I looked at the construction of the terminal itself by cutting off the nylon on one piece to look at the underlying metal: the gripping surfaces are of the 'rolled' construction, which is much more reliable than the folded construction seen on some low-price connectors. The metal is perhaps slightly thinner than what I see on Gardner-Bender crimp connectors, but not markedly so. The connectors crimp easily with a good quality (Thomas and Betts) crimping tool. The price, $7 for 200 connectors at the time of this review, is certainly very attractive: no more than you'd likely pay for a small package of 10 or so connectors at your local hardware store. The heavy-weight plastic jar is certainly an improvement over the usual plastic clamshell, and should do a good job of keeping moisture away from the connectors & avoid spillage. I won't have any hesitation to use these on projects.

I have been using these kind of spade connectors for years and these work just as well as any others. Make sure you use the correct crimpers for these and they will hold great! The crimper for insulated terminals is very different as the one for un-insulated terminals. I use these for a few different applications, mainly in stepper motor driver boxes and to connect relays, fuses, and other devices that have spade terminals. This is a much better deal than what is available at my local stores where they only give you a few terminals at a ridiculous price.

These are standard red female quick disconnect terminals. They are for 1/4" wide (typically the larger) terminals. Per the specs listed, they are capable of handling 19A, which is good for a red terminal. Red terminals are sized for 22-16AWG wire. Since 16AWG can only safely carry 13A, these terminals have plenty of current capacity. The only knock on these terminals is that the insulation is only rated at 400V. So if you are using 600V wire, such as Mil-W-16878 wire, you may need a different terminal. But for any 300V or lower application, these are fine.
