I had a large set of LED floodlights for my front lawn that were not motion-sensing. I did not want to replace the lights, as I was very pleased with how well they worked. This was an inexpensive solution for converting them into motion-sensing lights. I would buy it again.

Ad shows 2 detectors for $15.99, even the quantity stated 2.Received 2 detectors for $41.31.Haven't hooked up yet, don't know if their quality as yet.Get me the other 2, as advertised.

This is a replacement part or an add-on part for security lights. You can use it to replace a bad sensor or you can add a sensor to a light that doesn't have one. Adding a sensor is a lot cheaper than buying a whole new light if you already have a good light. It comes with instructions on how to connect it and is priced reasonably. For the timer it has a test position which you can test it during the daytime, one minute, 5 minute, 10 minute and the last position is dusk to dawn. The next button on the knees determines at what light level the sensor will turn the light on in the evening. If you want it to wait until it's very dark out you can set it that way. If you would rather it come on at dusk you can also set it that way. The last button is for sensitivity. I have not tested it out the 60 ft but it says we'll go that far. I wanted one that would go far because if you mount it 20 ft in the air you've already lost 20 ft of your distance by the time it hits the ground. With this I can mount it 20 ft in the air and still get about 40 ft out. Because it has a 240° detection area, you can put it on a corner and they can look around both edges of the corner as well as straight ahead. This is not bad for an upgrade or replacement.
