I didn't use these for the conventional purpose. I put them on the tips of plastic drum sticks for a group fitness class that I teach. We pound on the floor, so these are used to product floors. They're tricky to get on and once they're on, they are super hard to get off. They're pretty durable, but usually split after a few uses. So, order extra to have on hand to replace.

Initial thoughts on the product is that the material is thin. I bought this product because it stated high temp application. I'll be using it to cap a coolant line on a turbo charged engine. Hope it holds out.

I use these High Temp Silicone Rubber End Caps to plug holes or cover small areas when I powder coat so the area is protected from the paint. Bolt threads should not be powder coated and these plugs work great in plugging bolt holes assuming you have the right size for the hole. They come in a variety of sizes and configurations, but are used for the same purpose. Additionally high heat tape of various widths is used also to mask areas off. All these products will withstand temperatures up to 500 degrees.

These were purchased to apply to my green POUND ripstix for exercise class to protect the flooring of the gym I work at. They are easy to apply if you dip the rubber tip and the stick tip in hot water and then apply the rubber tip. No problems. They break after continued use but are worth it to get the job done and protect the floors! Love them and recommend them to everyone!!

I have an extra heater fitting on my car that is normally capped with a crappy 5/8 rubber cap from the car parts store. They tend to last about a year and then they crack and explode and blow coolant all over my engine bay. These high temperature silicone caps are meant to protect parts during powdercoating, and for that - they'll easily survive the oven. I figured why not try it for the engine? Welp they seem to be alright! They do inflate quite a bit under the pressure because the material is thin, but it's lasted a month so far. I drive a 1 hour commute with a ridiculous 3,000ft altitude change, so my car works HARD every day.I figure - if this thing blows up too? Hey - I have 24 more of 'em now!

I teach a fitness format POUND. I use these on the ends of my Ripstix. They do a great job at preventing the floors from being damaged.
