These work incredibly well. Kills moisture in my ams and filament storage totes incredibly fast. When they’re spent, you can tell because they’ll be green vs orange and recharging them is simple. The nice thing is that this color option works for people that have certain color blindness. I just put them in my filament dryer for a few hours and they’re good to go. Only downfall, is that if miss the funnel, they’re gone forever since the beads are small. Really, make sure you have a funnel….

If you have any area in your house or in your car that might get moisture, these are WAY better than buying damprid over and over. They work and you can just dry them out in the oven to re-use them over and over. They probably prevented me tons of issues since I had my car parked for two years because I was lucky enough to have a company car for that time. Miss the job but at least when I went back to driving my Avalon, it wasn't full of mold like a few other cars I've had parked here for any amount of time. Definite recommend.

I use to use this in my AMS and filament containers for 3d printing.This is a good option and works, however I live in a humid climate and have to dry it pretty regularly.I have moved over to Alumina, but if you want traditional silica desiccant these work great, and the color changing is effective.Budget friendly option that works!

I use several desiccant cans in my safes to help control humidity in the South Florida area. I had several cans that the desiccants were no longer able to be rejuvenated. Researched this product and it appeared to meet my needs as a replacement.Installed the material in my cans and monitored the humidity levels in my safes. The humidity levels remained stable for my test times. The cans/desiccant have been rejuvenated a several times and the product appears to still function as designed.Would recommend this product.

Does exactly what it’s supposed to do, and for a good price! Keeps my filament dry and is super easy to reactivate. That reminds me, I need to order more!

I 3D-printed a small container with openings smaller than the beads to keep in a tool box. They went from bright orange to dark green over about the course of a month. It seems like this should help prevent rust.I carefully heated this small amount of beads shown in the photos for about 6 rounds of of 15 seconds with a bit of rolling around and cooling them for about 20 seconds in between rounds. (I tried a shorter cooling time between on one round and they started to get just a touch sticky - don't overheat them!) Microwave ovens vary in power. My first round I actually started with only 10 seconds, and they weren't really warm, but they were quite warm after 15 seconds in mine - but test yours!) It seems like they should be able to be used over and over again. Next time I dry them I may see if I can weigh them before and after to see how much moisture they absorbed (and release again after heating).

I bought this this and thought id need way more as i was planning to use a lot but there were so many more than you’d think. They work perfectly, absorbing moisture and also do turn green when ready to be replaced or put in the oven to reset and this system works great.Would throughly recommend if your looking for good and reliable silica.
