I use these for long term ammo storage. They work great, they're easy to activate and they're long lasting. For the price, you can't beat it knowing whatever you're storing is safe from humidity. (It's pretty humid here in Texas)

I put these packets in many containers, such as for my different types of nuts, flours, dried fruit, herbs, etc. They are working well and change color when fully absorbed, so it is easy to tell if you need to replace them. The used ones can be put in the oven to be "refreshed." I put the used ones in a container so when it's time to put them in the oven I can do a bunch at once. I highly recommend these. Great price. Great product.

Great product for storing dried goods. Not crazy about their ability to be “reused†though. I followed all of the instructions on how to “re-dry†the packs, but the indicator beads remained the same color as when they first showed they had been exposed to moisture. Not 100% certain the indicator beads are MEANT TO return to their original bright Orange color. However the product did a great job for its original, intended purpose of keeping dehydrated products dry. So 5 stars for Use-ability 1 star for Re-use-ability.

I love these so much! I use them in jars with food I dehydrated and bulk food storage. I tried recharging them in my dehydrator and it worked well.I was a little concerned since one of the powders I put one in got stuck to it. Everywhere I looked had how to recharge them, but not how to clean them.I reached out to the company to ask and they got back to me quickly.Their response:For cleaning food powders off silica gel packets, here are the best methods depending on the type of contamination:1. Light Surface Dust or Powder:Gently shake or tap the packets to remove excess powder.Use a soft brush (like a clean toothbrush) to lightly dust off any residue.2. Stubborn Residue:Use a dry microfiber cloth to wipe the exterior. If needed, lightly wipe with a damp cloth, but avoid soaking the packets, as moisture will activate the silica gel.3. Deep Cleaning (If Powder Has Stuck to the Packet):Compressed air (like the kind used for electronics) can help remove fine particles without adding moisture. If the powder is inside the packet, the silica gel may need to be replaced, as washing is not recommended.Important Notes:Do not rinse or submerge the packets in water, as moisture will saturate the silica gel beads. If cleaning with a damp cloth, allow the packets to fully dry before reusing, or reactivate them after cleaning using the standard oven or microwave method.

This product is better than most because it changes color when it needs replacing, and you can dry it out and reuse them instead of single usage. I use them in the jars of dehydrated food I make for backpacking. Great product!

After processing home grown herbs & chilies in the dehydrator, one or two of these little packets together with the herbs in a zip-lock or glass bottle is the finishing touch to keep those things fresh for a very long time! Don't forget that the silica gel packets can be renewed to like-new-freshness inside your home dehydrator!

These work great and keep my crackers dry. Very easy to recharge the pack when the color changes from orange to green.

I bought this product several times. Reliable good product. It keeps your foodstuffs crispy and dried. I mainly used it to keep nuts,, snacks, rice, grains and dried foodstuff fresh, away from humidity. But must remember to reactivate the packet once the beads inside have saturated. I reactivate it every 3 weeks, depending on the humidity in your area.

Package says how to microwave them to reactivate then further down says not to microwave. Then package says saturated beads will change from blue-pink to orange-dark green, Amazon page description says saturated are dark green and active are orange, so another clash of info.
