I used this silica gel to dry a bride’s wedding flowers. If you want to have the best experience and you’re drying a wedding bouquet I recommend getting at least 10 lbs. I made it work with 5 lbs, but it was a stretch, and I didn’t have the comfortable margins that I would’ve preferred (meaning I wasn’t able to dry any extra flowers, and had to carefully pick and choose exactly what I wanted to dry so I would have room) and that was working with relatively small wildflowers. If you’re drying a bouquet with roses, spray roses, hydrangea, scabiosa etc. you’ll definitely want more to work with.Out of curiosity I did end up putting some flowers on top of the silica, they dried out, but not being in the silica means they shrivel up and lose their form greatly.My flowers came out lovely and perfectly dry. The hydrangea dried super fast (2-3 days), but I let the others sit longer to be safe.10/10 recommend this product, it’s a really good investment, and can be used again, and again, and again!

I have been hesitant on buying silica gel but I am so very glad i chose this brand. Not only was the gel easy and simple to use but I only used half the bag to preserve my favorite roses. For the full roses, it took about a week but the leaves and individual petals took less than two days!Greatest part… it's reusable!I am very particular on where i spend my money and I can tell you this product is well worth what I paid!

My best friend passed away. At his Celebration of Life there were dozens of yellow roses which were his favorite flower. I took some home, bought this silica gel to dry them before casting them in resin.Prior to buying this particular product, I watched several online videos to learn how to do this. The best one recommended this particular product over other brands.It worked perfectly, and I'm glad I bought it. It's something I wouldn't have had a second chance at as I only had a few roses to work with. The roses dried thoroughly, kept their bright yellow color and looked fresh and not like typical dried flowers. Very pleased with this product, and the bonus is, that if you follow the instructions to re-dry the silica gel by putting it in the oven at a low temperature, you can use this product over and over.This truly is an "ultra premium" level product, and because it's reusable, eco friendly as well!

I purchased this to dry out flowers from my dad’s funeral service so I could add to resin and preserve them. It worked perfectly and dried out the flowers and kept them still vibrant.

Already dried several flowers from my father's wreath. 2 days for small flowers. Larger ones have been in for 1 day so far. Will come back to update on large roses, carnations, and lilies.
