1 filter lasted about a month before it stopped absorbing water. How long they last depends on your quality of water. I used purified drinking water.

I’ve ordered these filters several times- they do the job- I replace about once a month when using nightly- obviously water and environment effect time to change them

I believe we've purchased these humidifier filters more than 10 times. They stand up well, meaning they don't tilt and sag down, they last about 6 weeks before you notice that the humidifier is not using as much water and humidifying well, and there's no smell associated with them. We live in El Paso where there is a lot of dust in the air....it's interesting to see how the filter traps the dust and keeps it from entering the water basin in the humidifier. We use these filters and distilled water in our humidifiers and rarely develop any sort of mildew, etc. The quality of our air is important to us, and the humidification combined with air cleaners keep our home smelling fresh and energized. We'll continue buying these filters......

The sizing on these replacement filters is very inconsistent. I bought a two pack of them. Both of them were slightly too long, and one of them was not as wide as the other. The one was not wide enough and so it did not want to stay in place in the humidifier. Do use it. I actually had to jury rig the filter. I had to run long twist, tie through the filter and then bend it over to the outside of the humidifier to keep the filter in place so it would even be usable. I’ve also noticed that these do not last nearly as long as the genuine filters for this product, but I have been unable to find the genuine filters made by the manufacturer. I’m honestly wondering if at this point if I would just be better off buying a new humidifier that has filters that are easily available.
