Both pieces were defective. I can't imagine such poor quality control. Amazon kindly provided a free replacement, but unfortunately, one of the two pieces in the replacement didn't work. I ended up ordering five LED modules from another supplier.

Seems like 2 bulbs are on each series circuit for my 2015 Kitchen Aid, try to guess which one is bad.To remove old LED:• take out fridge tray for decent access;• blue tape all the way around -- it’s easy to scratch fridge paint• push tabs in with strong putty knife, have 2 putty knives• OK to break the old oneBack in:• Plug in wire junction, light comes on if you guessed right* If you guessed wrong, then you need to replace the 2nd light to get both on• Slide side of light to trap white wire junction• Slide top or bottom to have tab lodged against edge• Then you should be able to put in without breaking new light

Removing the old light which in series, may or may not be burned out is very difficult. The lights are held in place with rigid plastic crimps are under great pressure and do not flex much at all. You need to pry a gap large enough to get your fingers or screw driver to pull the light out. Damage to the old light and or the interior is possible so be patient!

The 2 pack Kitchenaid Refrigerator Replacement interior lights are as pictured. They are easy to install after removal of original light excellent color match for original part. Glad to have a spare for future replacements

One of our KitchenAid fridge lights burn out once a year. Sometimes more often. Some are inline and if you don't find the broken one, they all stay off. I had a repair man fix them the first few times at a high cost. Then I searched Amazon for replacements and haven't turned back. I usually have to settle for white frames. These are chrome which is my original look. I still haven't found any quite as bright as the originals, the repairman couldn't either. These are fine. I have enough lights to make the interior of my fridge bright enough. Happy I could find chrome. Stocking up.
