My tire compressor fell out of my truck and landed on the filter, breaking it off. I searched online for a parts diagram so I ould order the part, but none such thing existed. Thanks, Viar. Good product, but not great support. I found some replacement parts on Amazon, but I didn't know what the size was, so I went to Lowe's to see if they had one. Found out what size I needed in the pipes area, saw the price of the Viar, and ordered these instead. They're a bit big and cumbersome, but for $10 for two and two day shipping, these were the way to go. They fit well, and with some PTFE tape, they'll be perfect. Viar, come on. $18 for a cast aluminum part? These are two for $10.

My purchase of crankcase vents for my air compressor proved a surprise. Once installed and the compressor started the top of the noise suppressor/vent blew off and across the room! I am currently repairing these "new" replacements. I can do better at the job than did the manufacturer. It is easier to make a simple fix than to return the product. I think they WILL work.

My Husky oil less 27 gal 200 psi compressor is LOUD. Spec's say 80 decibels. I measure before and after using my phone and a decibel measurement app with this so called "silencer" vs. the original plastic one. This one made no difference in the loudness, still about 77 decibels measured from the same distance away. So if you are buying for that reason, don't bother, it doesn't help.
