I hemmed & hawed over these (and similar knock-offs) for years. Balked and held off because of the ridiculous price for 2 pieces of milled aluminum. Still, if you want what they have, you either pay or go without, and, like they say: "Buy once, cry once." Yes, this is stupidly over-priced. It would be fine if it were for BOTH seats, but... it is what it is. And seeing as how 75% of my driving is solo anyhow, I just knuckled under and got the pair. There are NO INSTRUCTIONS (at least my set didn't come with them), so it might take some folks a bit to figure it out. Mine went in without a hitch - maybe 10 mins, tops, to install. It took some getting used to for the slightly different angle, but the additional room for my legs was a MAJOR comfort improvement. (And I'm not even that tall!) Fit & finish were first rate - no tweaking or fudging to get them in position. Included hardware worked as it should; (I added a drop of blue loc-tite to all bolts, to make sure they wouldn't work loose over time).(I suppose If my wife grumbles enough, I will spring for a set for her side, but she's much shorter than me, so I doubt she will.) Overall, quite satisfied.

I agree with a previous review, that these do seem to be at a premium price for two basic pieces of metal. But I will also say that by changing the angle of your seat, you can greatly increase your comfort level. So what is your time worth to try to recreate what this product does for something that you use everyday. I am happy, comfortable, and would purchase this item again.

These spacers will raise either the front or the back of a seat. The change in angle can make up for poor design and make the seat more comfortable. I used these to raise the front of my driver seat to better keep me in the seat. These spacers are very sturdy and very easy to install. The set comes with all the hardware needed to install. If you want both front and rear to rise, it will require two sets of spacers.
