For all the dumb idiots like me, there are 3 pieces in this set, not 5 like the picture. Opened the package, pulled out 3, was like "i thought there were 6", pulled up the product page saw 5 in the pic and 3 in the title. I was all sorts of confused.They work great though.

I used the bracket to hold secure electrical conduit I ran to a workshop. Where the pipe comes up out of the ground I wanted to make sure the pipe couldn’t be hit and pulled from a junction box. These bracket are rigid and don’t bend do they will hold secure.

I am replacing a fence and needed/wanted something that would not rot in the next 10 years, so I opted for metal square tube. I used these to attach the 2x4 to the metal posts. It holds them tightly in place. Note that my fence is only 4' tall therefore lighter than your typical dog-ear fence.Having said that, yes, they are strong enough, do note that I can readily bend them by hand. Most of the distortion does bounce back but in the center (the weak point due to the hole), the distortion can be made permanent. Hence, I'm dropping one star down to 4.
