4 inches wide maybe but the height is 3 - 13/16. Keep in mind these will not work on 4 inch pipe. not sure how other countries may measure pipe but in the USA pipe is measured with inside dia. no consideration given for the pipe wall thickness on each side. The metal is very thin. Just wasted my money on these.
