So usually these off brand, foreign made, cheap lenses are for sure gonna be garbage. I came across this one looking on YouTube for recommended brands. I really liked the arc shot from this lens and for the price it was an easy decision. I read some of the product reviews and there were more good than bad, usually user error. So I went ahead and ordered it along with some clears (note this lens comes with 2 complementary clear lenses). It came in super quick, literally the day before a weld test I was taking. Did two 3g and 4g open root plates, one set was short circuit mig/ fluxcore. The other set was pulse mig all the way out. Then a 6g pipe combo weld, tig root and hot pass/ 7018 out.I was amazed by the clarity while going through these different processes. The blue hue was easy on the eyes, and light from the arch was diminished substantially. You can really see your puddle and allows for quick manipulation to really blend the toes of the weld wherever/ whenever it’s needed. Can also see a lot of the work piece all around which was a plus! The only process that gave a little bit of a problem was the 7018. Really it’s only because it was a little hard to stay in front of the puddle, and not to mention I had a lot of back light coming in the hood. But as long as you can stay in front of the electrode, it’s a very clear image of what’s going on all around.Been using it none stop ever since, I would 100% recommend this to any and everyone who wants more clarity of the weld for all processes. Some reviews said it flashed alot during the tig process, I believe this is a revised lens. Regardless, I have yet to experience any form of flashing while tig welding pipe. No matter if it’s thinner pipe welding colder, or heavy wall with the heat cranked up.Hope this helps someone’s decision, you definitely won’t regret it!

Was pretty fired up to try a new lens...I've been using a 20+ year old Jackson hood with the NexGen auto darkening lens inside.Took a welding class at my local community college and they had a Jackson rep come in and offer us 100 dollars off the package so I jumped on it.Fast forward many years and technology has gotten better right??Tefuawe lens, is quick, but not quicker than the NexGen. I experienced a split second of flash when starting up my tig arc, and after an hour or so of welding....my eyes felt this.As far as clarity goes, I don't think it's any clearer than the NexGen to be honest.I do love the simplicity though. No buttons, just grab it and start welding.4 stars because it IS a good buy, and if you're coming from the cheap cheap cheap hoods, this is probably a big leap in quality. But coming from what was basically a flagship hood in its day, not too much better, if at all.

I had an older version of this lens, a 3/11 shade, and I thought that was a great lens... This version is even better though! So clear in the passive state, great color while welding, and the shade 2.5/11 is perfect for my every day Tig welding needs. I run all different amperages (from 30 or less up to 150+ on AC) and I don't feel much eye strain at all throughout the day. This new version is also much more sensitive than the older one I have, doesn't flicker at low amps.Totally worth the money, I have a Lincoln Electric Viking 3350 as well and I like this lens way more! Only use that one now when I need adjustable shades for something, or to plasma cut.

Great lens. I give mine a heavy workout in all seasons and it hasn’t let me down like a lot of others on the market. 10/10 would recommend

I originally bought this as a "cheap" back-up for my Miller auto lens, but it is now my go-to lens. The clarity and sensitivity are far superior to the Miller in my opinion. It has not once failed to activate unless the sensors were blocked by something. The Miller failed repeatedly, same with my Hobart hood and that has 4 sensors. And it is so clear when idle that moving around with the shade down is not a problem. The only caveat I would add is that it seems a little "light" for a shade 10 (feels more like a 9) so if you are doing a lot of high amp TIG or fluxcore you might want to get the F11 version. That being said I feel the F10 model is perfect for light MIG/TIG fabrication.I ordered an F11 model but was sent another F10 so I am waiting to see if they will authorize the exchange. Hopefully Tefuawe will make it right, I would hate to have to take away stars for that.

If you are a career welder running flux core and gouging all day this might not cut it.I got a shade 11 and it feels a bit light.Super clear and great for a bit of mig welding.
