These are great and were a direct replacement for my older SpeedGlas welding helmet. I also purchased replacement headgear (Fibre-Metal 3C by Honeywell) and it was an exact replacement for the crappy plastic fasteners that it comes with. Very nice quality and I'm sure they will last me my entire life.

These seem well made. I hoped to use these to repair my Hobart Inventor helmet. It did not work, even with some modification (second picture). The threaded rod part was too short.I found a 3D print model that would fit around an M6 bolt, but I don't have a 3D printer. Still looking.Never the less, this should work for the type of helmets in the description.

While these are much better than the cheap plastic ones that come on the helmet originally, they still come loose way too easy. It's a relatively easy fix.Just get a washer,..

I would recommend this product, i usually would buy them from outlaw leather but for the price i had to try! Seems well built, only time will tell

If you use the fibremetal metal section, it seems to not loosen up. Just installed it today (2-11-22), and will post any updates that need posting. At the start of a nuclear plant outage right now, so I should have a pretty good feel for the quality of these over the next few weeks.

Cheaper than other places where you can get these. Get loose just the same as the plastic ones. Doesn’t look like they will break in the middle of the day between two rods. Which is why I got them. Time will tell. I’m thinking of putting some lock tight on. Might help.

Does exactly what I expected. I would have liked a bit longer stud, maybe a 1/4" longer, and I'd be able to apply them to many other types of headgear.
