Purchased to have extra sealant in my saddle bag for emergencies. Perfect for transporting on or off the bike. Stans is a great company who revolutionized tubeless technology. This is easy to use. Simply remove valve core and squeeze entire bottle in valve. Install valve core and inflate with CO2. Does a great job sealing tires to rim and prevent flats. Highly recommend.

Living in Hawaii, I've been a dedicated bicycle commuter for about ten years now, riding a pleasant 5 or 6 miles to work daily. Can't beat the weather. I use a heavier Continental Contact Plus or Schwabe Marathon tire with built-in puncture protection, which typically stops road debris like glass and even small nails. I do, however, still occasionally succumb to other hazards like Kiawe thorns, which seem to slice through rubber tires like a hot needle through butter.I last changed a flat front tube in February of 2022 and at that time, I pulled out the presta core of my Schwabe tube and poured in a bottle of Stan’s before inflating. In January of 2024, I came out of work to find my tire pressure low and also saw a few drops of cloudy liquid below a wet spot on my tire. After removing a thorn, to my relief and amazement, the tire took pressure.I checked the next morning and the tire was still holding pressure, so I cycled to work and vowed to patch or change the tube that weekend. And then promptly forgot. Repeated that cycle for a while and now it is October of 2024 and the tube is still holding. The hole is obviously still there – if I let the bike sit for a few days, there may be a shiny patch on the outside of the tread and drop of Stan’s on the floor below the tire – but I dutifully check the pressure each week and it still hasn’t gone flat. That’s far more than I expected. It is time to replace my tires and this time they’ll both have Stans from the start.

This was my first time adding sealant to tubeless mountain bike tires and this set of sealant made it very easy. I bought this product because I wasn't sure if I was going to permanently run tubeless tires and the three pre-measured bottles were perfect. I used one bottle per tire and they sealed perfectly for the past month and a bunch of rides. Also, one of my tires was used and had some sidewall wear. The stans bubbled through a little bit initially but stopped within a few minutes and formed an airtight seal. Overall very pleased with this purchase and will definitely be sticking with stans in the future.

I'd been using Stan's Race sealant, and bought these to carry on the bike for field rip-off after punctures. The package is great, both staying sealed in my trunk bag and making it really easy to squirt the sealant in through a valve stem once you pull the core. Unfortunately, the sealant doesn't actually seal nearly as well as the "Race" variant. I guess it's better than nothing, probably, but I'd much rather have Stan's Race Sealant or Orange Seal Endurance in the same package.

Finally a product that actually works!! Just got back into biking and just remembered how much I dislike goatheads. I have been getting flat after flat, even with liners. I did not want to put heavy tubes on my CAADX and not really ready to go tubeless so I opted for the Stans. It went in easy with a 3rd party syringe/tube injector. No mess. My second ride I got a small puncture (another goathead) and did not lose all of my pressure. I was able pull the thorn out pump back up to fifty and have made two other rides without losing any pressure. This is on a 700 x 35 tire.Every tire I use will not have Stan's !!

Pros: This stuff works amazingly well! My tires tended to be flat-prone during goat-head thorn season, so I tried this in my tubes. Have not had a flat in the three months since. On one ride, we had to repair seven flats among five riders. three riders using sealant (in tubes or tubeless set-ups) had none; the two riders without sealant had all seven flats. Those of us with sealant did get thorn punctures, but no flats. As a result, I highly recommend sealant for off-road/gavel rides.Cons: Installation is a bit messy, and if you do get a flat/tear/hole, it's very messy.Note: The three bottle kit is nice because 6oz is how much you will need for one pair of wider, 700x35/37c tires.

I got a small puncture (a glass shard was the culprit) in a relatively new tubular and was worried I was going to have to replace it. I added an entire 2-ounce bottle of Stan's, pumped my tire up to 140 psi, and could hear it seal almost immediately. From a preventative maintenance standpoint, I've added half a bottle to all my tubular tires. My father has been using Stan's for years and does not recommend using it with Co2, the temperature differential doesn't work well. If you're going to carry it with you, be sure to have an old school mini pump handy.
