Haven’t had it long enough to comment on durability, but it cuts easily. I have it on a 6 inch grinder (without a shield) and it still works fine. Would have liked to have the 6 inch wheel, but I didn’t want to spend that much before knowing how well they work (this is my first diamond wheel). I’m using it to sharpen brazed carbide cutting bits and high speed steel bits and deburring. Cuts really fast and leaves a nice finish. Well worth the money. I would gladly order again!

I use this on my pedestal grinder for putting a point on tungsten rods for tig welding. It's on the smallish side and it works for the 1 purpose I use it for.

UF-SHARP’s nicely made 3-inch diamond grinding wheel is a good way to finish sharpening a carbide insert for a lathe tool. After an initial sharpening with a green wheel, this wheel will put a polish on the insert.This wheel can also be used for lapidary work or polishing glass or edges of ceramic tiles.The diamond grinding wheel is 3-inches in diameter, 10mm wide, and the diamonds wrap around the edge of the wheel for 10mm on both sides. Both the edge and the sides of the wheel can be used for sharpening. There are no markings on the wheel, so you might want to use an engraver to mark the grit size, which is 150. The arbor size is 1/2-inch, which is perfect for a 6-inch bench grinder. This wheel can be double mounted on the same side of a bench grinder by placing it on with a third nut beside the primary wheel. You can keep your green wheel and this wheel together for convenient use. It can also be used on a 3-inch bench grinder with an arbor adapter.The grinding wheel has a nice coat of diamonds and with my limited use they seem to adhere well. The offering doesn’t list the type of diamonds (i.e., monocrystalline, or polycrystalline).This diamond wheel is a specialty tool that is very useful for certain tasks.

This is made well! It's great for getting sink corners! I do countertops for a living and we provide our own tools for benefits and extra pay so I am always looking for new ones and this definitely is a good one!
