This was an excellent value. They were used as prizes for a school group. One of the kids is particularly interested in boomerangs. These have been stuck on cars, accidentally tossed to strangers, just out of reach on a rooftop, etc.I was shocked (knowing how little they cost) when we pulled one down a roof with a broom, got it stuck in a gutter, twisted it in half trying to get it out of the gutter - and it sprang back to shape and is as good as new.Excellent value!

I was about ready to throw them in the trash after following the instructions on hiw to throw them and having nothing resembling return flight occur. On a whim, threw it somewhat like a frisbee and it arced upward, turned, and came back fairly close to me. After a few more tries, I was able to catch a couple returns. These are pretty light and soft so they are reasonable for kids to play with (although a bit frustrating)

Pretty hard to get it to come back to you. I'm willing to admit that a good amount of that is user error, but I definitely also believe the quality and medium of the tool (foam) isn't really helping matters either. I bought these knowing that though. This three pack was perfect to share with my 3 young daughters who had a total blast throwing these things around the field, and completely stoked to get just a turn on it or a partial return back. So based on entertainment value alone it is 5 stars.Durability - It is dense foam so it is sturdy-ish for what it is, but it will start to bend and kink a bit over time so it's important to try and unbend it whenever you think it looks off.Ease - Not easy to learn. You get basic instructions and I get it noone is learning this from a piece of paper. I was able to get it back to me a handful of times (i.e. legit snatch it back out of the air), but it took quite a few attempts lol. Maybe like 3-4 times out of 100 :D

They don't keep their shape and then will not fly. I thought these would be ideal for my kids but I soon realized that they are essentially useless once they're slightly twisted or bent. You might think that's the customer's fault but the reality is, it doesn't take much at all for them to get out of shape. Shipping does a pretty good job of that to start with and after a few throws, forget about it. Trying to keep them flat is virtually impossible. They are just too flimsy.

I get why these exist - if you're going to have an object return to you and you're a kid, you probably don't want that object to be hard, to avoid injury. However, if you want a boomerang to actually work and not just flutter to the ground 15 feet away, it needs to be heavier. These just don't work.
