They r inexpensive and work great. I use them to secure my ladder as I'm a older guy maybe I shouldn't get on a ladder but I have to get the work done. I put one where I use my ladder the most. I use a carabiner and nylon strap to keep the ladder from falling and the anchor point is a godsend.

I've purchased several similar products and this is the most disappointing one. They are cheap, but the quality is the worst. They are very light and thin, and don't feel like they can handle the load. There is no indication that they are certified.

I mounted 3 across the top of my roof and ran an atv winch rope between. Hook to my harness and allows me to work the steep roof without risk of death.I’m mounting solar panes on my rooftop so these are really nice.I’ll leave them mounted permanently.They don’t damage the shingle that it sits beneath either.

I don't see an actual load rating on these tie-in plates, but they feel certainly beefy enough to hold a zero fall factor, i.e. keep it tight, with no slack and you should be good to go.

Not often do you find a product that is even better than pictured. These anchors are considerably more stout and larger than others I have had or currently use. I have a roofing company and often need tie offs for maintenance or replacement. These are FAR thicker and stronger than the hinged style I am accustomed to. I will be purchasing more for my maintenance crew, gutter crew, and several roofing crews. I would recommend!

Human lives depend on the proper functioning of this clip. Will the metal it is made of hold up when it is pulled? It feels like it can't hold the load.

Honestly, I don't know, but I just can't figure out why they are lighter, and why can I trust they are just as strong? Apparently not!!

The first thing I felt when I received the product was that it was very light. My intuition told me that it was not suitable for use in a fall protection system. Sure enough, these products are very thin, which is different from the product description. Can such a cheap metal clip really protect my safety? I don't believe it.
