Jack packaging was better than I expected. Box only had normal minor shipping scuffs. Inside had formed styrofoam blocks. Not a scratch to be found. Took a few minutes to remove all the little beads that stuck to the jack due to static, but no worries. No piston leaks and lube points show appropriate grease but no mess.Installing the pole was simple, connect the two pieces, seat in hole, tighten screw. Twist the pole clockwise until action locked, and pump. The dual piston action raises all the way in about 7 pumps. Under load, it may take a few more pumps. Twist counterclockwise to release.Side handles are secure and the weight of the aluminum/steel construction is definitely lighter than all steel, but still adequate. Rubber pad on lift contact and foam pad on handle to protect car body are nice additions. Overall, very satisfied.

I lost confidence in this jack when I opened the box.Cons:1. The 2-piece jack handle uses a spring pin to connect the two parts of the jack handle together. There is a LOT of play between the two parts and combined with the fact that the pump piston only moves a couple inches at a time, means the jack handle has to move up and down a large distance to get a full stoke of the piston.2. Lifting handle does not attach to the jack well. I had to figure out where it is supposed to go from the picture since the instructions don't say. The jack weighs around 20 pounds and having the carrying handle come off while carrying the jack could be a foot breaker.3. The rubber jack pad was stashed inside the body of the jack. If I hadn't seen it on the parts diagram I wouldn't have known it existed.4. The hydraulic piston has a ring of moisture (oil?) around it. This may just be from some slight spillage of the hydraulic fluid when it was assembled, but based on all the other issues listed above, I would not bet on the longevity of the jack. I immediately returned this item unused. I do NOT recommend this jack.On a side note, I've had to return several poor-quality items lately. I may have to stop ordering non-name brand merchandise from Amazon, which might mean more trips to brick-and-mortar stores and fewer orders from Amazon in the future. Amazon does sell name brand items with recognized quality and the price is usually exactly what I would pay for the items at Lowes, Home Depot, etc. But they don't carry every name brand I like. I do like the fairly fast shipping and the great return policy though.

Shipment was packaged well and almost no assembly required. Have not used it much yet but it did raise the tires on my car easily on a trial checkout.

Really like this jack. With it I’m able to lift the whole front or rear of the vehicle as opposed to one side at a time. It might be lightweight for a jack but it is not light in weight. Solid and sturdy.
