I ordered the original mini angle.grinder here too that came w the disks and used them heavily on my horse's hooves for trimming snags and chips in between farrier.visits and rounding off the hoof edges to prevent more chips. It took me several months of using them once a week or so on a quarter horse and a draft cross to wear them out. I ordered more replacement disks that are the same. I also used them to shine up some carnelian rocks I had but that does wear the sanding disk out really quickly (understandably), so probly not recommended for that. I also do crafting with natural materials and use the grinder for rounding off the end of sticks I use in my art. Quick and handy. One of the few things I've bought online that meet the bar.

I’ve been refurbishing weight plates and that means grinding old paint and rust off. Been using wire wheels and other attachments to my drills, and 4 inch battery grinder but that was wearing the batteries and the tools down and throwing little pieces of wire all over my driveway.When I saw these 3 inch wheels and how inexpensive they were I thought “why not try the on my old electric 3 inch grinder. It buzzzed through the job fast and smooth. Definite still needed a good mask and goggles with ear protection but I wasn’t getting covered in little wire slivers any more and the price was right.I’ll definitely order another pack. They don’t last as long as an $18 twisted wire wheels but they go right through the paint down to bare metal fast.

These small flap wheel work great on my angled cut off tool. Reaches into spaces that the larger 4 1/2 wheels can't get to.
