I really like working with this wire, it is pre-tinned and really easy to solder. It also has high quality silicone casing (for use in high temperature environments) which is flame resistant. Just the temperature spread (-60 to +200 centigrade or -76 to +390 fahrenheit) really makes it applicable for most electronic use cases. For things like 3d printers or laser cnc's it works great.If you are using this for lower voltage projects use a different gauge (larger number gauge wires are smaller and can handle less voltage for 5v use 22 or 23 gauge) wire.

Last time I ordered variety spools of wire for electronics projects the picture in the listing was similar to this one, but the spools were mostly empty. I know you buy by the foot/meter, not by the picture, but come on...if you've never bought the stuff before can you visualize "10m of AWG 26 wire"?This time, what was delivered looks like the listing: Full, small spools of wire. The wire has a good number of strands (12? I didn't count) and is nice and flexible. Takes solder well. The wire can be stripped with a thumbnail, but is still reasonably heat resistant. I will definitely buy this again.

I had to hunt around for awhile, but this product satisfied so many needs. Good quality wire, single strand, and manageable insulation. The 28 gauge let me put multiple wires into a single hole on my prototype boards, which cut down on creation time. It comes in its own box with draw-holes for each spindle. Low-tech, but it works well. It does not take up much desk space and it keeps the wires controllable as you use it. A good solution

I bought this multi-color pack to use in making a replacement electronic throttle wiring harness for my 1995 Mercedes s500. While very tedious to make, it has been functioning perfectly for the last few months in a very hot engine compartment. The silicone insulation seems to be up to the task and the wire is of sufficient quality to supply the proper voltage to the sensitive electronics in the throttle. Resolving my Limp Home problems completely. I'll update this review at the one year mark.

Al ser de silicon es muy flexible y para cambiar algun cable dañado estan muy bien sin problema para soldarlos a otros cables , pero para hacer arnes no funcionan ya que se pegan a las funda de Cable ya sean tenzadas o de tubo .
