**Background:** Along the time ago for about six years, I worked pharmacology research lab. I was around beakers all day so I know good beaker and bad beakers. I ordered this for personal use at home, I do some crazy home, cooking chemistry and adding a heated magnetic stirrer to my mad food scientist lab and I am slowly adding flat bottom beakers to do my mixing in.I would put this as above average and quality and a great value based on its price.**Build Quality:** based on the visual clarity and on the sound it makes when you ping it this is likely real borosilicate. I would put a thickness above average. I measured the wall thickness at 2.736 mm. It's a curved wall so my measurements may not be exact using a digital micrometer. But keep in mine its a beaker. So if your using this with people not used to labware you may need to get a heavy duty beaker instead just to keep in mind. They are significantly more expensive. The base has a diameter of approximately 5 5/8†and a height of of 8 1/4â€.I checked the printed graduations and they are off some they overmeasure roughly 5%. But you really shouldn't be using a beaker like this to measure out your fluids. This is just for mixing or storing solutions.Beakers this large get pretty heavy when they're full of fluid so you need to handle them carefully. I think this is above average thickness. But you still can't slam it around like you can a Pyrexx mixing bowl. It’s still labwear at the end of the day.I am happy and think this is solid quality at a value price so I am rating this 5 stars.

I picked this up knowing it was a big size, but not clearly comprehending how big it would be. I intended to use it in my kitchen for making iced tea and nut milk and things like that, but it’s too big to easily put in the fridge. Instead, I’ve been using it to mix fertilizer for my houseplants and container garden plants. It’s a good size for that and the pour spout makes it easy to pour the fertilizer into watering cans.

This massive beaker is perfect for my application, mixing film developer. The flat bottom perfectly fits my 5.5" hotplate stirrer. The markings are clear, the glass is decently thick. Everything is just right.

This review is for the JOLABEAR 3000ml Durable Glass Beakers, 3L Laboratory Beaker with Printed Graduations, 3.3 Borosilicate, Low Form Design.Quality of the JOLABEAR is up to the quality of my other laboratory beakers, which I use in the kitchen. No negatives. Five stars.

Arrived in perfect condition. Its large 3L beaker, made out of thick and durable borosilicate glass. This type of glass is known for its low coefficient of thermal expansion, which means it can withstand sudden temperature changes and high temperatures without cracking. This is great size to use in my lab. It’s versatile and useful for many applications. Very happy with the quality.
