These were less expensive than the big Science Supply companies and still had the same great quality. These are the heavy-duty thick-walled beakers that you can boil water in on a Bunsen burner. Good product!

After a lot of struggles trying to find heavy duty Pyrex beakers in the sizes I needed, I finally succeeded. This one was listed as a 600 ml, however the measurement markings only go up to 500 ml. So be aware of ordering a slightly larger size if the full 600 ml measurement markings are important to you. I was happy to find that these beakers were made in Germany, which another reviewer had stated makes the very best quality Pyrex beakers. Not sure if this is true, but if it is, "Made in Germany" is printed right under the word Pyrex on the side of the beaker. It is a thrill to use this beaker and not need to worry about it breaking easily like some inexpensive, paper-thin types.

Arrived intact and well-packages. It is strong like Pyrex is, especially this heavy duty version. I use it as a mixing glass and it worked great! Hold enough ice and liquid for at least 2 drinks. All spins easily and no concern the mixing spoon will damage it.

I refine precious metals as a hobby and this is an absolute essential. It's durable and does not etch when using nitric acid, hydrocloric, aqua regia, or sulphuric acids. I had to replace this one from the set I have because I dropped a chunk of copper into my old one and cracked the bottom. When this happened, it didn't even leak. You get what you pay for and this is worth every penny!

Seems like it will be a great plastic-free alternative for my immersion blender. The glass is thick and feels durable. Went through the dishwasher well. Fits my immersion blender blade.

I frothed milk in the beaker with an immersion blender, heated it in the microwave, swirled it to polish the milk, and poured it into the brew. The shape, size, and spout of the beaker are good enough for what I need. It's an inexpensive way to complement an inexpensive 1-cup Bialetti Moka Pot.
