The cup was great and the size was good too. My only thing was i was looking for a double walled cup instead of a single walled cup for better heat retention.

I planned to buy a loose herbal tea and searched Amazon for tea brewing items. There are many tall cylindrical ones, but a lot of reviewers said they had flaws, fell apart or were too hot to handle. Some of those are very expensive too. This product is perfect for one large cup of tea. It's very simple to use: put about a tablespoon of tea leaves into the metal unit that fits inside the cup, pour the hot water through, then put the lid on to keep it hot while you steep the tea. Unlike some tea infusers, the holes are very fine. The lid also keeps your tea hot after you take the metal unit out. The glass is thinner than ceramic mugs, so take care while washing. Metal unit is easy to clean; just dump out the used tea leaves and rinse with water. Tip: Depending on the type of tea you're using and how strong you like your tea, you may be able to get several uses out of one tablespoon of tea.

Im very pleased with this mug and infuser. I prefer this thin borolite glass; so my comments are based on that personal preference. The handle fits various sizes of hands and is comfortable. I emphasize that I like everything about this set; however, be careful with the little glass lid used for steeping as it doesnt fit snugly on top of the mug and easily slips off if you lift the mug. Mine fell off and broke when it hit the floor the first time I used the set. My bad.I recommend this product.

I purchased this mug because I had been using a similar style to brew my tea several times a day, however it was ceramic and dark, so i couldn't see my brew. I am very happy with this mug, love having the glass and seeing my tea and don't think I couldn't do it any other way now. The handle is comfortable, the size of the mug is nice, the lid fits nice, the infuser is good quality, but I don't know how long it would keep your beverage warm because it is very thin and glass is a poor insulator. I keep it on warmer which works very well. On the note of it being thin, the only thing I worry about is a mishap whilst washing or something because I do not anticipate this taking even a minor fall. It feels a little heavier than a lightbulb. But it is affordable and I am going on a couple weeks with no problems thus far, just wouldn't recommend for those with a high clumsy gene.

I didn't know glass could be made this thin. The concept is great. The lid works fine even without the strainer. I'm sure the total material cost is low since everything is so lightweight. I would be much happier if it had more heavy duty construction.

Every morning, and several times a day, I go for espresso coffee for my migraines. I love my double-wall glass mugs, but 16 Oz (I have), isn’t quite big enough for my beverage. The challenge to find a high quality glass mug to fit under the head of my (old) espresso machine...this one fits (almost). This beauty of a mug holds the full double-shot plus the heated frothed half&half I add to cut the harsh. Look what I get!? I love to see my beverage, so it’s gotta be glass.The BIG surprise bonus is that the HANDLE, which seems an afterthought for most mug designers. and who will hold it. You can get a safe solid grip on this 20 Oz mug, which full does have some weight. THIS HANDLE DESIGN is sooo comfortable, and you can feel like you have a safe grasp of your (HOT!!!) beverage. I have big hands for a girl. Regular mugs are easy to drop, because I can’t get a grip, can you? THIS handle is just the BEST I’ve held. Try it and see. And....btw, it has a LID to keep it hot! And the diffuser is beautifully made. But I got this just for my coffee ;^)

great value and health. Do away with all the paper and plastics by using tea leaves, which are perfect for a single cup. lid doubles for sieve stand.

This is just the best tea mug ever. The clear glass lets you see how strong your tea is getting as you brew it. The infuser keeps even the smallest pieces of herb teas from falling through,it is very easy to clean & you can use it in other mugs. The glass lid keeps the tea warm while brewing and lid doubles,upside down, as a saucer to put the infuser in. Very giftable at a good price. Looks delicate, but I have not had any problem with cracking or breaking & I bought my first one 10 years ago.
