These were very easy to install.We actually used strips of the gorila outdoor all-weather tape to hold the heat tape to the roof.We get lots of snow and need to use snow rakes so we were worried anything else would come off with the ice above the heat tape or get damaged as we pulled snow off.We are Praying they work great!!!

This product has worked extremely well. It was flexible and easy to install. I used it in the gutter and downspout. I think it will work for many years.

5 Stars – Perfect for Greenhouse Use! Product as described. Cable two different set of clips.I’ve had this 160ft heat cable for about two years now, and it’s still going strong! While it's designed for roofs and gutters, I’ve been using it in my greenhouse sand bed to start seedlings during the winter.It works perfectly every year, keeping the sand bed warm and ensuring a great start for my plants. Highly reliable and a great alternative!

These heater cables are exccellent for melting the ice out of the roof gutters. I wish they came with a bit higher heat, however. To solve that I use a pair of cables.I find that keeping the ice out of the gutters is the main way to solve ice build up at the eaves. If the gutters are clear then melt on the roof can flow down and get away. It is much simpler and more effective than running cables in a pattern on the roof.
