I recently got into making fancier cookies for church events. As a novice decorator, I didn't want to go hog wild on expensive brushes. These budget priced brushes ($6.99 for two sets of 15 brushes in a variety of shapes) are just the thing for adding small details and dabbing a spot of glaze to attach edible pearls and such.The bristles seem to be securely attached and a nice balance of softness and stiffness. They came with a plastic tube on each brush head. This was a good protective measure for shipping. However, it's pretty much impossible to reinsert the wider brushes into their tubes without splaying and bending the outside bristles, so I won't put those tubes back on.A nice addition to my kitchen tools for a nice price.

According to the product listing, this set includes 30 different decorating brushes and a case. What I received were two identical sets of fifteen brushes, and no case. The two sets only differ in that one set has a handle color of white, and the other has black handles.The quality of the brushes is okay.Order only if you're looking for two identical sets of brushes.
