I have gotten two of these, the first one burned out within a year, I hope this one lasts longer, but does work great and wasn't too hard to install myself, and I am a 76 year old lady!! lol

This is the second element I have purchased. The first one lasted not quite 3 years. The factory element lasted 13. I decided to give it another try. If this one doesn't last, I'll be going to Sears to get a replacement.

Old element blew in the stove (its pretty old model with lots of use). Bought this for a replacement. Pretty sure it doesn't match the resistance of the old element as the oven runs way hotter than previously. Like set it on 200 F and it gets up to 325f. Set it on 300 F and it will go to nearly 450 F. Not huge problem, but one to make note of if you purchase it and find that you are burning foods when setting the dial to where you have always used it before. I purchased an oven rack thermometer and just verify temps before baking anything now. Expensive lesson after burning some very expensive dinners (especially in this economy)!Update 5/21/24:Almost 6 months to the day after purchase. Made biscuits this morning and all was good. Set it to preheat for dinner, prepped the meats for dinner. Went to put in the oven and its stone cold. Element is completely dead. No warranty either? Guess im out $30 for meat with dinner tonight. I definitely recommend looking for another product/supplier. This peice of junk has cost me almost $1000 in meat these past six months between inconsistant temps burnimg everything and then failing in 6 months. We dont even use it but 3-4 times a week. Absolute Junk!

Package arrived quickly, very easy to install, if you have issues there are some videos online. My oven is a Kenmore and it's compatible with it.
