I bought this set because i have needed to file something but have only had the typical large file in my tool box. These are small and there are many shapes, so you would likely find one to work. Not top quality but good enough for occasional use.

This is a nice set of files to have around if you do a lot of scribing on uneven surfaces like concrete and brick. I do wish there were a more aggressive grit on at least a few of the files in the box as the super fine gritted files clog up and don't cut as effectively. Not a huge issue, but would be nice.

I could have used this set years ago but I'm glad I ordered it now. The set comes with everything in a case which I'm happy for as I've left my other files in the bottom of tool pails and tool boxes and forgotten about them. Included are 5 different sandpaper grits (2 small sheets per grit) which I have found useful in smoothing the edges of pipe that I've cut. I just wish there was more sheets or larger ones. There is also a pair of gloves tossed in but I've got no use for those.The tool set includes a small but useful wire brush, two file bits to use in a drill, four medium size files and twelve small files. So far I've used the tools mostly for metal and PVC piping but they are suited for many tasks. A file set like this is a must have for the shop - just wish I had it sooner.
