Seems a medium material, read reviews for other products having issues with being to flimsy, I like the feel of this and seam along the zipper Seems solid. I went with this for the buckles on the bottom, one in the front broke (my fault, i was trying to bring it around the front to the back opening of the bottom feet but after it broke i realized it was just supposed to go under them instead) but I was able to tie the ends together so the straps are still serving its purpose. It fits my tote perfectly! The tie in the front has elastic in it so I feel when it gets windy between the buckles and the tie it's secure. I'm happy with the easy access to the top and the front zipper to get to outlet. After searching a month on Amazon I'm actually quite happy with my cover and after testing this ones quality I'm going to buy another for my second tote that's just got a tarp covering it.....with winter coming I'm going to get a thick blanket to help insulate it, I feel between the two it will hopefully be enough to keep it from freezing, this isn't flimsy or thin but I also don't think it would insulate it enough for several days of below freezing weather either, especially since mine is raised so high. Overall all I'm impressed by the quality and feel confident enough to purchase another and feel it was money well invested.

~20-30mph winds cause an entire corner seam to split. Another cover of a different brand right next to it (up wind on fact) has survived without issue.
