This is a very pretty decoration for the garden during the day and sparkles at night with lights. The measuring tube has a good size opening and is clearly marked for inches. It comes in two pieces. Bottom part is pointed to stick in the ground then you fit the top half into it. It was a little taller than I liked but someone or something changed that problem. I found it broken at the join and the vial was at the opposite end of the garden (kids? Rough-housing cats? I don't know). I was able to salvage the top half and it stands up very well, maybe more sturdy than before. I think I even like the height better. I think it works well, especially at such a reasonable price.

It is a very cute and sturdy rain gauge. The solar lights work making it show up in my yard after dark.

I needed a new rain gauge, I finally decided one this one. It's fairly accurate, when my neighbor and compared with each other. ItIs sturdy and durable enough it held up during hurricane winds in SE Texas and compared to others it was a great value for the money. Definitely like the light that comes on every night. Gets lot of compliments.

The one flaw is that the post is too thin to support the weight of the glass tube, decorative holder and solar pane. So I am forever rearranging and picking it up. I haven’t given up, but I wish it was a one and done. Cute!

The quality is really nice and the craftsmanship it’s just really pretty! I haven’t seen it light up at night but it’s position close to a streetlight so I don’t know if the button in the back will make it come on or not. I’ll try it tonight.

I love hummingbirds so was attracted to this rain gage when researching rain gages. It is high quality, gives accurate readings of rain, and looks great as a decorative piece in my flower garden!

Arrived quickly and looks exactly. It charges in the sun light during the day and shines at night! So cool. The numbers on the tube are easy to see from inside the house. Very happy with it!

only 1 solar bulb and that is under the rain gauge. doesn't light up, maybe it does if there is water in the gauge but not worth the money if looking for a solar gauge
