The photos are definitely misleading, they aren't bright and high visibility the paint doesn't line up and overall has a very low quality look, but they do feel as solid as any other spark plug sockets, just don't count on them looking very good. They look like something I would get from wish.com

I am very dissatisfied with this spark plug socket set. When I opened the package I liked the contrast of the black steel with the colorful labels, but all of the sockets were coated in a WD-40 like oil sheen, well more like soaked in the oil. It took some effort to clean them off. The oil even coated the rubber inserts, rendering them ineffective because the rubber inserts will slide right out of the sockets. I tried to change a spark plug and had to use my long telescoping magnet to retried the spark plug. My fear was that the rubber insert would fall into the cylinder, but thankfully it was still on the neck of the plug. STAY AWAY from this set - it is too much of a liability!
