These are the best flap discs. They’re durable, fast cutting, resist overheating, long lasting and keep cutting until the disc is gone!All the other reviews for these below 5 stars seem to indicate that buyers are not receiving 10 discs only—nothing related to poor quality flap discs.

Being leary of any all purchasing on SCAMAZON lately, I was worried about more counterfeit junk. I was stuck on a job 1350 miles from home and 2 hours away from an amzon drop box and no supply house within 300 miles had anything in stock i ordered these. At nearly half the price of other flap discs at the big box supply stores these things are criminal. They tear thru heavy mill scale without gouges and rippling the steel, ugly welds who cares, simply laid to rest in seconds flat. Figured the 10 pack would last the job and i would be headed home. Boy was i wrong. Still had 4 left brand new. Yeah, these are on the regular re order list for the shop and trucks. Contacted 3m to match up this product line with all our other belt and disc needs. They got robbed, these are gold for the price of tin.

Amazon sent me only one and at first the “customer service agent insisted it was $52.25 for one disc. The second guy realized when it says $5.23/Item, you should get 10. Good price and quality discs but a potential hassle. 3m should update the listing to make it simpler for Amazon employees to fulfill.Second and third attempts at delivering 10 discs instead of 1 were unsuccessful.BUYER BEWARE

I have tried all major brands including the German ones. Nothing moves metal with the amount of control these due. They cut so efficiently you use less pressure so you do not gouge your base metal.1/18/24 These things are truly amazing. We are still wearing through these. They last almost twice as long as the German trimmable ones.

I do metal work and welding and have used many different flap discs that cost around a $1 a piece, they don't last very long but do a decent job when sanding metal. These last a little longer and are good but not great. These 3M discs definitely beat the dollar discs.

This is the disc you want. Cuts cleaner and way longer than the other flap disc's. You get better performance for a longer period. This makes your grinding more consistent throughout the life of the disc. Buy in 10 packs to get pricing lower.

Removing mill scale while maintaining a flat finished surface is apparently a hard job for discs, and this one does it spectacularly.I find the discs wear better when the tool they’re on doesn’t suffer from a loss in RPMs when pressure is added—the wheels work best on a 15 amp Metabo Grinder I bought a few months back.In any event, try these for mill scale removal! Best bet I’ve found so far. Works well for light shaping. For heavy shaping, buy heavier cutting discs (cubitron II offerings, Walter Turbo series, etc).

These don't fall to Pieces like the cheap budget ones. The grit stays put and they last a good long time. Let the tool do the work and don't push hard and destroy the disc. I put a double nut wonder it and a single on the top so I can use these perfectly flat on my metalwork. Had to mix and match a few fasteners from different grinders to find the perfect fit. Once you do then just keep that grinder for your flap disk...

Lasts a lot longer than a cheaper competitor. Saves time because your not changing discs all the time. Because the quality is so much better you have to be careful to not touch your skin. It rips it out quickly

The 3M discs last an average of 3 to 4 times longer than discs bought in bulk at the box stores. Great cutting ability and overall quality. Overall cost per disc vs box stores makes the 3M discs a much better deal!

3M flap discs might not be the least expensive choice, but they deliver the goods. With an aggressive grit that lasts all the way to the backing, even remounting a used disc provides a positive grinding experience. I’ve used many different types of flap discs in large quantities and I can tell you that these don’t disappoint! The individual flaps stay attached and they’re not overwhelmed with adhesive as you approach end-of-life. Lots of flap discs, both more and less expensive tend to seriously degrade in abrasive effectiveness after the initial edge of the new disc is worn. These cut well all the way to the backer. Very pleased and will be purchasing again!
