Your cart is empty.3M Temflex Vinyl Electrical Tape 165 is a 6-mil thick, multi-purpose vinyl insulating tape available in 10 colors in 10 roll packs. It is flame-retardant and designed to perform in ambient temperatures up to 194F (90C). The tape is conformable for cold weather application down to 32F (0C). It has excellent resistance to abrasion, moisture, alkalies, acid, copper corrosion and varying weather conditions. The combination of an elastic PVC backing and pressure-sensitive rubber-based adhesive provides electrical and mechanical protection with minimum bulk. This versatile electric tape is compatible with rubber and synthetic splicing compounds, and is UL Listed, CSA and VDE Certified.

Plenty of stick. It even works well on cold temperatures. After I wind the tape around a cord it sticks so well it’s hard to impossible to find the stem if I decide to remove it.

it's a good product, but if you leave it in your car in a hot summer day it will swell and change form , even not in direct sunlight. otherwise its great for electricians like me , I take them with me when I leave the car.3m has another product called super33+and this tape even if left in the car in a hot day,it doesn't swell or change form.

I bought this to be used as a weather seal tape between a vinyl skylight frame and some rigid foam insulation that butts up to that frame on the indoor side of the skylight curb. It's worked very well, sticking securely and being a matching white color.The remaining rolls have become "garage tape" where I often use electrical tape for various tasks because, when purchased in bulk, it's relatively inexpensive, can be stretched to create tension, easily forms an air/water-tight seal (when overlapped with tension) and (if the adhesive isn't gooey) can be cleanly removed, even years later. A common use is to seal jar caps containing left-over paint and caulking/adhesive tubes between applications. This tape has also worked well for these type of applications.
