I bought these blades to cut glass but mostly for rocks that I unearth or buy. The rocks that I like are geodes, little potatoes that hold treasures inside.I like it when someone cuts open a geode then puts it back together with a hinge and a little hook clasp, like natures jewelry box. That's what I want to do. You can't get that by tapping on the blob with a hammer to crack it open. You have to trust that you have real geode and use a blade like these to cut it open.I had a basket of potential geodes that were given to me by a kind soul that had the knack of finding geodes. I never attempted to open them. At first it was because I didn’t have a saw capable of cutting them and I didn’t want to just break them open. Then they got lost. I found them recently in a box labeled “car parts”. I thought it serendipitous that I saw these blades and I knew where the rocks were. A rare alignment in this household.I put this on a cordless angle grinder, mostly because cutting a bunch of potatoes in a bowlful of water while attached to 110VAC seemed a bad idea. Plus, I wanted to keep the blade supplied with water while I was cutting.I cut every one of those rocks apart. I’d love to tell you about all the quartz crystals that I found and how they varied in size and formation. But in reality, my luck held true. Not a single geode was uncovered. The cuts were fair but would need some polishing up if the rocks were to be used for display. No worries, these are not going on displayOn the plus side, I cut about 3 dozen rocks apart and then tried a glass wine bottle. After a couple of false starts, it cut all the way around in minutes. Having the blade on a cordless grinder gave me the freedom to try the blade on all kinds of things. These blades will cut almost anything; rocks, block, glass bottles, old plate glass, tile, slate, and brick. If I haven’t bored you to tears, here is my review. The blades do a credible job of cutting anything consisting of rocks or glass, including aggregates like concrete and mortar. It does not leave a perfectly smooth surface, but blades that are capable of making mirror finish cuts in rock are typically much more expensive.I gave these blades 5 stars because they did what they advertised, no less, no more. They are inexpensive, but I cut dozens of hard rocks, plus glass and numerous things around the yard. It probably made at least 50 cuts and it was still in good enough shape to cut more. I think lots of water and being careful not to force the blade was the key. Like Norm Abram would say, let the tool do its job.

Great diamond blades, but the hole does not fit a die grinder with a â…ž" arbor. I had to file the center hole to get it to fit my Angle Grinder Tool,4-1/2 Inch Corded Electric Power Hand Mini Grinder. Once the hole was large enough for the blade to fir the grinder this diamond blade cut fast, clean and quick. I would have given it five stars but they did now fit a â…ž" arbor. Other than that they are a great diamond blade.

Good quality cutoff discs for angle grinder. Like all, they're going to get smaller with use, so getting a multi-pack of 3 will offer a long life of grinding and cutting.

I made one test cut on a fairly thick piece of glass and then chamfered the edge. The cut was clean and the edge turned out sharp without chipping. I will update my review once I cut some thinner pieces, but I am confident I will have a similar experience in quality and ease.

Works well and seems to last a long time. Works as well as the more expensive brand I used to buy.
