This 1-inch diameter (25.4mm) felt polishing wheel is ideal for polishing metals and plastics. It requires the model 401 mandrel. When polishing precious metals such as gold and silver, use this bit with the model 421 polishing compound (jewelers rouge) and apply lightly. Do not run in excess of 30,000 RPM.

This is just what I was looking for - had a couple of these from a kit and could not buy individuals at Lowe's, Home Depot etc. I am so happy you had them in stock - I am restoring a car so all the nuts and bolts need to be polishedThanks

I use this polishing wheel to clean between the blades of small cross ventilating fans. It removes the debris with out damaging the blades and improves the performance of the fan. Care must still be taken.

It's a great product, as expected, but it is quite expensive for what it is....so typical Dremel stuff here, lol.

The only problem I had with the one inch diameter is that I had to tip the dremmel to polish a large flat surface resulting uneven wear of the wheel. I need a larger wheel.

Felt is soft so it sheds lots of lint when you use it. Not as good as genuine Dremel felt buffer wheels, but very low price make this buffers a reasonable cost/benefit choice.
