This is a really nice assortment of buffing and polishing wheels. I make a lot of jewelry, pens, and other items on my lathe. I'm always grabbing the Dremel tool for final polishing. These are great for some of the prep work also. Many useful grits and types of wheels are included with this kit. Very handy in my shop! Excellent value compared to Dremel brand buffing /polishing/wire wheels.

Good selection of brushes/polishers in a sturdy storage box. Shafts are true to 1/8" size and fit well in the 3 rotary tools that I use. Reasonable price for a selection like this with a storage box.

These fit perfectly on the fine detail work I need to complete my CNC carvings. I use these in i an old rotary tool I have to polish the edges and the bottoms of the carving. I also use them on my laser etchings on would to remove the occasional charring on the edges. These fit the bill for my needs and will get these again once I use these up. I would recommend

In the interest of full disclosure, as a trusted and unbiased Amazon reviewer, I was able to request this product free of charge.Good set of brushes/polishers for the price complete with a sturdy compartmentalized storage box.Note that all of these have the usable ends permanently attached to the shafts. Some of the buffing wheels are nearly spherical which increases their usability.Of the non-metallic brushes, the green ones are probably the coarsest but it is hard to tell. With a total of 60 tools, this set is a very cost effective option.

One of my hobbies is restoring diecast metal cars. I strip them down to the raw metal and re paint them and customize them to my liking. One important step is to use an abrasive and clean them up before primer is applied. I ordered this set because of the small size and assortment of abrasives. I have about five different vehicles that I am working on right now and I was able to use these discs for various tasks. Some are a little too aggressive for this purpose, but I am sure I will find a use for them. I usually use a small file to smooth down the casting seams but was able to use one of the green discs and then file for that and save a lot of time. The wire wheels are great for getting in small body lines, which usually require a small pick (like a dental tool). and then the colored scotch brite balls are for the larger surfaces, like roofs, hood trunks and sides. I usually use the dark red color pads by hand and these discs helped to speed up the process. I now have five vehicles ready for primer in the time it would take to do two. There is no point telling you what comes in the kit as you can clearly see that in the Amazon add. However, I will tell you my experience with a few of the tools. I used a Dremel 3000 that I have had for years and a cordless rotary tool that is from a no name brand. They both have variable speeds which did come in handy. The wire wheels do not last long, and you will have little wires all over the place after a while. be sure to wear eye protection. The gold wire is less aggressive than the silver wire. The brown and black wheels are not that aggressive and are about the same coarseness and a good alternative to the wire wheels. The white wheels are very soft and will not do much to metal. The colored balls are gray, red and green, gray being the least aggressive. There is also a bunch of buffing wheels that I have not yet used. There is no buffing compound in the kit so you will need to add that yourself. All the pieces are kept in a plastic case with a few compartments. For my needs this kit was very useful and comes with a good assortment of pieces. For less than $20.00 I can recommend this kit....

I've tested most of the pieces in this kit at this point, and have been impressed especially with the scouring-pad style brushes (nylon) for cleaning surface oxidation off of metal parts. The cloth and soft fiber wheels have worked well for polishing with a polishing compound (won't do much by themselves), and the hair/carbon bristle brushes are great for getting stuck-on dust off of otherwise delicate surfaces. The wire brushes are functional, but quickly strip themselves away especially if you push too hard while cleaning or catch sharp edges. The bristles rip out fairly quickly and have a tendency to fling themselves in every direction, so safety glasses (always required with rotary tools) are especially necessary. The bristles will also stick in skin so be careful to remove them all or you'll end up with metal slivers.

This is the kit for your rotary tools when you need to buff, shine up, or clean up something. It is a box filled with rotary tool attachments - 60 of them. I've had rotary tools for a long time. My brother was an artist and showed me things he had made with a variety of tools including a rotary tool. I've had several rotary tools and sets since but never could match his creations.I've gotten several auxiliary sets for gifts but none as extensive as this set. It comes in a nice sturdy box, the brushes and buffers appear to be of great quality. If you use rotary tools, this set is for you.
