It stopped my leak, easy installation. I recommend silicon sealant around the top edge to positively stop any leak.

This is a great seal for third brake light, it has great sticky adhesion and will not come off, it’s thick and works great, make sure you peel the old gasket off first and clean it up then apply this one to the light housing, works like a charm and well worth the money

super easy to fit. dealer wanted $350 to replace.$42 for gasket and new tail light. half a hour to install. Wefollowed the easy instructions and added silicone.

Has a sticky back but just to be safe I ordered a tube of silicone. It was easy to install and is definitely good quality replacement. Seals great

During the heavy rains my truck developed a leak from the third light. The truck is 24 years old so I thought the gasket might need to be replaced. The gasket is a replacement but with the instructions it states to apply silicone to the gasket and to apply a silicone sealer around the out side of the light. If I wanted to apply silicone sealer around the light I think I would not need this gasket. So could be a waste of money.

Used this to fix the seal on my 2015 GMC 1500 Sierra. Fit great. I also used some caulking just to be such it doesn't leak again! But the instructions do say it should work without any caulking.
