- After removing your old brake light, please use some alcohol to clean the gasket area and lip on the light. Then attach to the light.
- Our 3rd brake light comes with a foam gasket and is generally waterproof.
- If possible, please kindly put a little silicone or some clear RTV all around the light and the screw holes just in case it leaks into the light or where the wires are.

Put this on a 2000 Silverado and cruise control stopped working. Had to wire a 1157 bulb in parallel to trick ECM You could also use a 6 ohm 50 watt resistor either way will get cruise to work.

This is a good product and it drastically improves the lighting power from the old-school bulbs. It was an easy install, but I was surprised that there were absolutely zero directions in the box. Some people might need those! My only complaint about the actual product is that I wish it came with new screws because you will have to use your 2 existing screws to install it, and mine are looking a little rough being from a 2002 vehicle. And if you don't know how to install it or don't understand what you should do, there are some good Youtube videos out there that explain everything if you need it. I would buy it again.

Direct fit, however uou may need to lower headliner in back to re attach wire connector. ALSO! Need to make sure uour careful with the rubber washers for screws. Use philips screwdriver and hand tighten or uou will damage the washer rubber. Very bright! Great upgrade

I had gotten one of the 'china-made' units a month or so ago, did NOT FIT my truck [2006 Silverado]. This fit with NO issues. LED unit, Cargo lights are nice and bright, brake light is very easily seen, easy install [be careful of the dangling part, it can be tucked inside]. WOULD buy again.
