This product allows the DIY guys to repair Ford truck and van door problems. Ford cut corners in the engineering of their door opening mechanism. This product permanently fixes the problem.

Super common issue on older rangers with the plastic pieces breaking. This part got the job done. Tons of videos on YouTube to figure it out.Overall easy install.

These metal cable ends are what the Ford factory SHOULD have used to begin with! The cable slots were a bit tight, but it didn't pose any issues. In fact, once the cables slide through the slots a few times, I'm confident that the slots will be a tiny bit wider and smoothed-out anyway. I had to grind-down one of the round ends to be more like the slotted or cam-lock end, because doing both the rear door and the side door on an E-150 van required a total of 3 of the cam-lock ends, not 2, as delivered. Otherwise, great product and my doors open very crisply and reliably now. Thank you.

Having to do extensive modifying to get these to work, very time consuming and highly frustrating. The center lengthwise slot is too narrow for the cable to slide through and the neck or indented part meant to fit into the holder is too wide. For a 2001 it doesn’t fit. Their advertisement states it fits all of the 10th gen F150s… bullcrap, it’s like they never actually measured where this is supposed to go.

I used these on my 2001 e250 van and they worked great. I had to sand the burrs off of the plastic cable sleeves and squirter some wd40 on the sleeve and they slid right on. And I didn't have to modify these in any way like some said they had to. So I'm pretty happy to have my handles working again👍👍

I broke the rear door cable two times on my '02 expedition. The OEM replacement is just as poorly designed as the original with plastic connector ends that wear out often. These metal replacement ends work great and don't appear as if they will wear out anytime soon.

It does not fit but you can drill a hole in it so the the cable can slide through it. I do like that it's not plastic.
