Worked excellent on removing floor tile modified thinset in bathroom. I was sure to remove every piece of tile sticking to thinset with hammer as I sense the tile if left would dull the grinder wheel. I saw no reduction in grinding efficiency at the end of my 5x10 floor job. Definitely need a proper mask or vacuuming attachment shroud as dusting is pretty bad.

I purchased this cup grinding wheel to level a couple of high spots on my concrete patio stoop prior to installing porcelain tile. It worked great and held up well. Very good product for the price.

It just kinda stopped working after using it a few days. I had probably ground down 1/8†or so over maybe 5-6 sq ft, and it was only polishing the concrete. The bit didn’t look terribly ground down, but it certainly wasn’t doing anything. Got a new one ordered, and finished the job. This was over the course of a few weeks, off and on. It works decently well until it doesn’t. For the price though, it’s pretty good, but I don’t have a lot to compare it to.Dust is definitely an issue. Get a dust collection cover for this or you will really regret it. I would imagine this is the case for any grinder.Photo is new on top, worn out on the bottom. It doesn’t look that different.

attached it to my angle grinder and away I went. It went thru an irregular lump of concrete (apx 4" by 10") which had been stuffed in as fill behind the structure I was taking down. This worked like it was butter. A chisle and hammer were not working. The lump was Gone in 60 seconds. Griding portion is on the front of the wheel. Not so much when I attempted to using from the side (aka like a cutting wheel). Makes lots of dust so use a better than good facemask and eye protection. Great product. I ordered two just in case and only used one. It is still as sharp as the day I got it.

you can not beat this for the price, in a retail store it is about 5 times as much and this does and excellent job

Worked well to flat grind a flagstone tabletop that had been thickly sealed with some kind of plastic sealer. Over time the sealer had discolored so the stone surface looked ratty. We used this cup grinder wet, in case the failed plastic sealer wanted to get gummy with the heat of friction during removal. Success. A few swirl marks show on the fresh stone surface, but that's on me. This cup grinder shows very little wear after about an hour of medium speed wet grinding. We used a router speed controller with the angle grinder to reduce the speed, limit the water splash, and to better control the cut regularity of the diamond disc.

Thought I was getting two, description doesn't say if its one wheel. Pictures looks like two wheels. IT'S ONLY ONE. Wheel works well,just disappointed.

This thing is incredible for 7 bucks. Rips and lasts, just buy it already. No bs I am blown away by this thing, grinder my whole concrete porch with it and it is still going.
