Brush looks to be of decent quality, however, the threads are not NPT `1/4†as the description states. I verified the threads are perfectly a M12x1.75 metric. Making this brush effectively useless for me at my cabin with standard 1/4†NPT threaded rods.

Bought this to go with the 6†brush and pole set. Found out that the threads are different. 4†brush 1/4-20†and the 6†brush and pole are 1/4†NPT. This appears to be the case with every pole I found. Couldn’t find an adapter at any hardware store, but there is one on Amazon or through the manufacturer direct.Rutland Product Adapter 1/4-20†to 1/4†https://a.co/d/9cP0ad7

Great chimney sweep, works great in my 4" stove pipe. Would recommend this product to anyone who has a wood stove or fireplace.

Hiring someone to clean your chimney/stove pipe can get pricey. This is good for people that wish to do their own, the pole did not come with it. It is a separate item although the box said "Box One of Two". If you don't mind climbing up on your roof, this is what you need! Works well to remove built up soot and keep your home safe. Your flue should be cleaned every year before lighting fires. We use wood in our fireplace so it is especially important. Good product, well made.

This supposed to be 1/4 NPT. Does not fit 1/4 NPT rods. I have to now make an adapter.
