So i pulled out the cleaning brush, gave it a once over and said looks good and like the flexibility of the fiberglass poles. So i assembled it and started to use it. All the bristles fell out within minutes, in a big pile on the bottom my portable stove. Had a handful connected here and there when i pulled it out of the chimney and i was like what the hell.. gently pulled on the remaining and they fell out like christmas pine needles on a dead christmas tree. Looking at the head of the brush, the steel winding was very open with large gaps along the shaft so there was no way for the bristles to stay secured. I am sure this is a defective item and I am reaching out to get a replacement of same item given i liked the design and the flexible shaft that come with it. The assembly was easily able to follow the small curves in the stainless steel chimney.

Using in 3" chimney pipe with two 45deg bends. Burning coal in a stainless marine stove, I use it weekly.

The brush works well 3" chimney the 50" brush went the full length of the chimney

It works as it should. Nothing surprising. I think it needs to be a bigger brush with harder more sturdy bristles so it can get the chimney cleaner. It got a small amount loose from the side walls so try at your own risk.

If I could give this a zero, I would. One of the flexible sticks broke off in my chimney about five rotations in. I don't mean that it unscrewed either, I actually mean that it broke at the plastic. Totally needed to dissassemble the chimney to get it out. Would not recommend!!

Brush is too small and way too soft to clean a 2.5 inch chimney on the hot tent stoves.The sticks are also very light duty.I would not recommend

Bristles on brush are very soft. I actually started laughing when I took the brush out of the package. This brush is a joke. Would never clean anything off a wood burning stove.Don’t waste your time.
