Needed to add lighting over a kitchen sink where the only light was behind your head and in general way too dim. This worked beautifully to extend one arm over the sink and light up the peninsula, one light into a closet with a washer/dryer, and another arm at a right angle to shine on the range area. Attractive, easy to install. I bought dimmable lights for it and a dimmer but ended up not installing the dimmer as the light was just right.
