I haven't had to use these yet but I know when I do they're going to work fabulously they are very durable very strong they work well from what I can tell The size is extremely great has lots of functionality and has just the right softness for what I need to do.

I certainly had reservations about ordering these thimbles. If they had not been so inexpensive, I'm not sure I would have even tried this style. I have been sewing for more than 60 years, and that's about how long I've been looking for even an acceptable thimble. The traditional ones simply have never worked for me. They are uncomfortable, awkward, and ineffective. I thought I had tried just about every kind of thimble available, and never found one I thought was great. The one that came closest to working well was the thimble that is a metal disk, with dimples on it, and with little round sticky pads that allow you to stick the thimble on the end of your finger. I've used those for years but have not been totally satisfied with them because the sticky pads have to be replaced so frequently, and they still allow the thimble to slip around on my finger. I finally decided to research thimbles one more time. This thimble that I purchased on Amazon, the one that is open on one side, is a design I have often seen but have dismissed without even trying. I do not have long nails, and I really thought this thimble would not fit well and would not stay in place well. However, out of desperation, I decided to try the ones on this site. I read reviews in which customers complain that the thimble is hard to adjust, requiring needle nose pliers. I have not found that to be true. The ones I received were very easy to adjust, but not so easy that I have to worry about the shape not holding during use. I was concerned that the fit would not be comfortable, because I have a writer's bump on my thimble finger, and on the other side of that same finger, I have a cist that is about the same size as the writer's bump. I was sure that the thimble would not fit, or that even if it did, it would hit right at those bumps, be uncomfortable, and not stay on my finger during use. I have experienced none of these problems. The thimble stays on while I'm sewing, it fits comfortably, and it is not at all awkward to use, as I had feared. I think I have finally found the thimble that is perfect for me. No more nasty sticky pads to deal with, and no more thimble slipping around or falling off my finger during use. I'm glad Amazon sold this package with two small and two medium thimbles. I would have guessed that I would need a medium, but that is not the case. The small is the perfect fit for my hand. It's nice to have two, in case I misplace one. I hope this review helps someone else who has been searching for a comfortable and effective thimble.

These are sturdy and I love the shape of them. They have metal bands that wrap around your finger, and you can pinch them tighter for smaller fingers, or loosen them for larger fingers. Although I love this custom-fitting feature, the bands that wrap around the finger are separate, so I find that my thread frequently gets caught between the finger bands and you have to untangle the thread from the thimble bands. It’s annoying, but I still love the shape of the thimble and the adjustable fit. It would be nice to have a different adjustable fit thimble without the separated bands where the thread gets caught.

As someone who loves sewing and quilting, I’m always looking for tools that can make my projects easier, and these 4 Pack Sewing Thimble Finger Protectors have been a fantastic find! I was tired of getting poked by needles or having sore fingers after long sewing sessions, and these thimbles have saved me from so much discomfort. What I really love about these is that they’re adjustable. I have fairly small fingers, and they fit perfectly once I adjusted them to my size. Plus, they’re metal, so they’re much sturdier than the plastic ones I’ve tried in the past. The design is simple but effective – the open top allows my fingers to breathe, and I still have great control over the needle while I work.I’ve been using them for everything from hand-sewing to quilting, and they’ve made a noticeable difference. If you do any kind of DIY sewing or crafting, these thimbles are a must-have. They’ve quickly become a staple in my sewing kit!

The product is a great idea, but in order to make the thimbles adjustable they used a soft metal and it is so malleable that I’m nervous about a needle being able to penetrate it and then my finger! I’m using one, very cautiously

These swing finger thimble protectors are adjustable enough to fit on all of my fingers. They are great for hand sewing, especially with thicker fabrics. When you try to push the need through the fabric, they protect you from being stuck by the needle or just an abundance of repetitive pushing of the needle. They keep your finger safe from just plain usage.

I have long, stiletto-shaped nails, so my first priority was finding a product that will accommodate my finger tips- regardless of length, thickness, or shape of the nail at any point in time. I selected this option, because I was just experimenting with different types of thimbles, hoping to compare and contrast a variety of styles and eventually uncover what works best for me. So I was expecting to get what I paid for- and the price for these definitely seemed too-good-to-be-true. But I was very surprised by how impressed I was with this product!Easily adjustable to fit and remain snug on any finger- not just thumbs!Great sturdiness to hold needles in place when sewing through thicker fabrics. These thimbles will last a very long time. I will definitely reorder this item in the future (but it will be in the faaaaaar future, because I cannot imagine how to do any damage to them. The metal used is very good quality, it is thick and strong enough to where it will not bend or lose shape) I am more likely to lose all 4 thimbles and need to replace a pack before even 1 of them would naturally need to be replaced at all.

I broke my top knuckle when I was a kid, so my middle finger is bent. The medium fits perfectly! I couldn't use a regular thimble because it hurt. And it slipped off causing me to jab myself constantly. I hand sew moccasins, these are a game changer!

I use it for needle felting and for quilting. I like the fact that we can adjust the size. I put one on my thumb and one on my index. Good product. I recommend

The idea is definitively there but I find them too awkward to use while knitting or embroidering. They don’t really feel all that comfortable and I find no matter how much I tighten it, they just move around, making it hard to do anything. Even the size small is to big for my fingers.

Inexpensive and good quality, but even the small one is very large, I had to make it a lot smaller so that it fits my finger, once in place it's comfortable and it protects my finger from the needle tips when I knit. I should have bought much earlier. I recommend.
