My house is 40 years old now and I recall replacing the rollers for the screen door once before but that was many years ago. The nylon rollers I'd used then had gone to blazes and it was time for another change. I bought these as they were a set of 4 and they were metal; the nylon rollers they replaced were cheap and I intend this to be the last time I ever do this. I removed the old rollers and cleaned out the accumulated crud of the last 25 or so years, saved the adjusting screws as these came with none, and installed them with merely a little difficulty: I had to enlarge the slots in the door as the rollers were a bit snug fitting, but some 80 grit sandpaper and elbow grease resolved this. Reinstalled the door and WOW!!! This moves more easily now than it ever has. This set is a 5 star product, IMNSHO, and I can only endorse these most heartily.

These are great. I didn’t know if they would really help my 30 year old screen door, but they work perfectly. The screen door glides like it was brand new. Just pay attention to how you remove the old sliders as there is no instructions with this item.

I have to replace the four rollers on my screen door about every two years or so. The ones that I’ve been using have plastic wheels, and therefore they tend to deteriorate over time.These are made of steel and look to be very durable. They fit in my screen door frame perfectly and they’ve made a big difference in how easily it rolls when opening and closing it.Hopefully they’ll last longer than the ones that I’ve been using. Time will tell.I’m very pleased with these tension springs; highly recommended!

These metal wheeled replacement screen door rollers are far better than the plastic rollers I replaced (which had crumbled over time).Be sure to note that these only fit sliding screen doors which have a top screw for adjustment (not a side or bottom screw). See the pictures in the listing and compare that to your sliding screen door.Does not come with the adjustment screws - you have to keep your old screws and reuse them.Was a little stiff at first but after rolling them for a few days, they loosened up and are easy to operate.
