These really are stainless, unlike some others that say they are when they are not. These will not rust. Fortunately, they have stamped screw holes because stainless is very difficult to drill through. And as other reviewers have said, the screws provided are a bit small for my application so I provided my own SS sheet metal screws. This product is recommended.

Used to stop bobcats, ducks and chickens getting through our scissor gate. These were long enough to run in parallel between existing scissor metalwork so the gate operates normally. Worked really well.

This product turned out to be perfect for the task of splinting a broken leg on an old tv tray. These brackets are amazingly sturdy and the design with eight screw holes makes it easy to locate enough areas where the screws can be inserted. I used 3 of the brackets and that previously broken leg is now the strongest part of the tray. I highly recommend this product if you need this type of bracket.

Made of a strange alloy steel that gunks up and dulls drills. Hack-saw will take it okay enough but will become dull!!! fairly sandable. Regular metal tool steel drill’s won’t work! You need a super hard drill, like cryogenically treated or something similar. If you intend to modify, I would recommend something else. Not worth the dull drills and saw.You’ve been warned.
