LG front load washer making terrible grinding sound when trying to drain and then ultimately.not draining and throwing a code. I got the washer used and it had this exact model drain pump in it. Have done maybe 30 loads with it since install and it works great. Good videos on YouTube to replace pump if you aren't sure how.

I think any positive reviews for this product are based on the first couple days, weeks or months, but this pump is not a good long term solution, and in the end, your likely better to go with another product. I replaced it with an OEM, and while the jury is still out on the replacement, I can tell you that this pump is bottom of the barrel.

Bought this to replace a non functioning drain pump on my LG combo washer/dryer. Fits perfectly and has now been in operation for over 2 months with no problem. A DIY job if your handy with this stuff. Access is tight. I was able to replace my unit without having to move the unit - access was thru the front panel - for others you might have to move the unit to gain access.

Just the part I needed, although the rubber gasket that came with the pump was ruined I was able to use the one from the old pump.

This pump was a bear to install, but I knew that going in. That's not the pump's fault, I just had to disassemble my entire washer to get to the old pump. Still better than a $150 service call. It took about 3 hours for the complete replacement.The pump seems very well made and It has been working fine for more than a month now. I am very glad I purchased it!

This pump works, but is quite loud. But it only lasts a little over a year.I'm on my third one. Luckily it's relatively easy for me to replace.I'm unconvinced that buying any of others pumps on Amazon would be any better, I think they are all made by the same company. The OEM ones are quite a bit more expensive.They all fail in the same way: The plastic impeller breaks off of the metal shaft.
