I was not going to pay $25 for a single filter from the Manufacturer. I read many threads reminding me ....."it's a lawn mower engine." These filters will last a season easily. Maybe not for the professional lawn mowing person, but for the homeowner, it's perfect and inexpensive.

These are made in China and they appear to be decent aftermarket filters. I was specifically looking for the JD AM107423 equivalent of a "long" Kawasaki or John Deere filter that can also be used on a B&S if you want more capacity. This is definitely not the same thing as a John Deere AM107423...This is more like the JD AM125424 or "short" filter.I prefer using the longer filter whenever possible because you can have more filtering capacity and can use a couple more ounces of oil in the engine. My goal was to get the equivalent of the longer filter, but these are not. These are like the short filter that is standard on B&S engines and can also be used on other engines if the shorter filter is ok.I'll get my use out of these, but I'm disappointed these are not actually the long Kawasaki, JD,or B&S filter. If you want the long filter then don't get these. I also wouldn't use these if your engine is still under warranty.If you want to use a cheaper filter on an older engine and you're not particular about OEM then these are OK. If you want actual long filters then look elsewhere for aftermarket or get OEM.

Great price and fit my gator. I like the bundle. I was past due on oil change just too lazy to go get a filter. Now I have spares on hand and will be ready for next change interval.

These oil filters fit perfectly on my Kawasaki FX801V engine in my lawn mower, sealed up first time with no leaking. The filter construction shown in the description looks pretty standard for a small engine oil filter. I got the 4 pack and would order these again.
