The design of these pliers is great to have on hand and are a huge time/frustration saver when needed. However, I would only suggest this particular set for occasional use due to some manufacturing quality concerns. In short, these would be considered on the low end of quality standards as the QC inspections are obviously lacking as there are multiple areas of manufacturing defects (including inconsistent sizing, missed polishing, and rough casting marks). However, I do see more reputable brands pricing start at almost double the price of these, so I wouldn't completely disqualify this set if you're on a budget. Also, I personally don't use these much, so the included case is a nice addition that helps in storing/organizing these pliers until needed. Rough manufacturing, but low price point is a fair trade off and warrant 4-stars.

I use them in a professional setting, they work fine. Craftsmanship is adequate for the price. They do grip hoses. Only thing to note is they are at a literal 90 degree angle which is slightly off from what most hose grip pliers are usually(60 degrees?). Not a huge issue but something to consider as it does affect the situations in which you can benefit from having these on hand.

The proper tool can make all the difference when it comes to ease of installation or removal of hoses. In the past I've used long needle nose pliers, and they worked, yet not as well as a dedicated tool made specifically for that task.To help you out, the ColuCk company is offering a kit containing three different hose pliers along with a spark plug boot removal tool. The four items are stored in a zippered case.So let's look at the actual product, its good features and areas where improvements can be made.The long reach of the pliers is a plus, it allows you to access places previously unreachable. On the flip side the extended reach can also hinder access. In general I find the long reach more of an advantage then a disadvantageI’m going to call the three pliers small, medium and large, as each one can cover a range of sizes. The handles appear to be dipped in rubber, and they stayed in place while I was using them. Opening and closing the handles was easy enough, remember they are new and will take some time to be broken in.There are however a few areas where improvements can be made. The first one being the thickness of the pincers at the end of the pliers (See photos) If you look at them you will see one side is thicker than the other. This doesn't seem to affect their use, it's more a reflection of quality control. The same can also be said of other areas as well (See photos)The product's overall quality is acceptable, it performs its job well and I think with a reasonable amount of care they should last for years if not a lifetime. It would of course be nice to own a very expensive set of hose pliers. Yet that would be overkill for the couple of times each year I use them. So in reality, this product is acceptable for the DIY, weekend warrior type and I’m glad to add it to my collection of tools.

Je ne les ai pas encore utilisées mais je les ai choisies en raison de l'angle de pliage de l'extrémité des pinces qui est de 90° au lieu de 45°.Cela donnera un avantage lorsqu'on tirera dans l'axe dss pinces puisque ca évitera un pincement des tuyaux ou câbles...La qualité semble bonne pour le prix. J'aurais aimé qu'elles soient d'avantages polies, ce qui aurait rendu leur nettoyage plus facile.Le métal fléchit quelque peu lorsqu'on mets une bonne pression sur les manches. Malgré que cela puisse occasionner un serrage moins fort, ca donnera l'avantage qu'elles ne casseront pas trop facilement. De toute facon, elle ne serviront pas à mettre une très grande pression sur les tuyaux ou câblages que l'on souhaite retirer.J'utilise généralement ce genre de pinces pour compresser les bagues de retenues sur les câbles de frein à main sur les toyota lorsqu'il faut les retirer. Ca fonctionne à merveille!L'étui de rangement est solide et bien fait.Il s'agit d'un produit entièrement satisfaisant versus le prix demandé.

I am a fan of having a case for these pliers as I often have pliers all over the place. These pliers all go well together. This is my first set of hose pliers -- I usually just use whatever to get my hose off so this is a welcome addition to my toolbox. I've only used them with decent hoses and nothing too crusty or stuck on. Thus, I cannot comment on the lifetime endurance of the pliers in hard circumstances. I will use them and see what happens. As of now, I like the product and I think they work well enough. I would recommend it. I will edit this review if anything changes. Thanks

These tools are great! I never thought I had any need for them but these are great, working on motorcycles these makes life so much easier with the hard to reach spots. These are the specialty tools that you wish you had when you need them.

Great for working on older cars with brittle rubber hoses. When using a needle nose plier the likelihood of tearing the old hoses becomes very common. The hose gripper pliers provide more contact area to prevent the damage to the hoses. The long reach helps with hoses that are hard to access in the engine bay. My only gripe is that the carrying case was sliced opened when I opened the cardboard box that it was shipped it.
